Inaugural Position Paper Competition
At the time of the announcement of this competition, our friends traveling to LiMUN and WorldMUN were about to submit position papers for their respective conference. Position papers in conferences are routine, but they also require significant skill and research. To acknowledge significant achievement in doing so, the Fourth President of UEAMUN opened the inaugural Position Paper competition.
Rules of the Inaugural Competition
Option A: Any position paper you submitted at one the following conferences:
• BiMUN 2015
• WestMUN 2016
• LiMUN 2016*
• WorldMUN 2016*
* one author per topic if in a double delegate committee
Option B: Position paper no more then one page and 500 words long on one of the following topics we discussed in our Thursday meetings, representing any country other then your own nationality:
• Burundian Unrest (Week 4)
• 2030 Education Agenda (Week 5)
• Privacy in the Digital Age (Week 6)
Best position paper are judged by its traditional merits found in conferences, where as the outstanding position paper prioritises delegates new this academic year to MUN, and therefore acknowledges significant improvements in the art.
