25th Annual Harvard World Model United Nations

Rome, Italy

The Delegation

A week of debate, negotiation, policy writing, good food, and partying in the eternal city.  Between March 14 and 18, The University of East Anglia Model UN Society travelled to Rome, Italy, to participate in the 25th annual World Model United Nations conference (WorldMUN). It was truly and unforgettable trip, while the skills and experienced gained by our twelve talented delegates priceless. We were incredibly privileged to attend speeches from the Prime Minister of Italy, Matteo Renzi, and Pope Francis. We would like to thank our delegates listed below for the dedication and hard work this week.
The delegation was the most diverse in UEAMUN history, both in terms of experience, course of study, and nationality. A true testament of the efforts to make the society accessible to the largest amount of people. And as a result, the society had an incredible privilege to work with this incredibly talented team. There delegates: Muqaddam, Kathi and Isobel went on to lead the fifth committee after the delegation, while Sam and Letizia would go on to become presidents of Politics and Economics societies respectively. This was the last UEAMUN delegation for Sikander, Michal, and Rainy who graduate shortly after the trip.
